Fr. Sam reflects on Divine Mercy Sunday

Alleluia! The Lord is truly risen. Today, we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday and see God's mercy throughout the readings. This week, look at some doubt or some brokenness and invite the Lord to walk through that and to raise you up so that you can truly celebrate the Resurrection of God.

Sample Weekly Mission Maps

Prayerfully, read the readings and ask God how He wants you to encounter His love in a new and deeper way this week and how you can apply the readings to your life each day. Some ideas for this week include:

Reflect on the video from Fr. Sam and spend some time in prayer where you invite the Lord into your doubt, brokenness, and sin so that He can raise you up.

Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet this week as you reflect and meditate on the love and mercy of God. Consider spending some time journaling about the ways that you have felt and experienced God's mercy in your life.

Continue to look into what your Diocese is doing for the Jubilee Year of Hope.

Do you have a diocesan passport for the various pilgrimage sites in the Diocese? Do you have any plans to go to any of those sites? Prayerfully consider how you can enter into this Jubilee Year of Hope in a more real and purposeful way.
